The game continues with the same ideea that the first one brought but they have changed the main character. Instead of playing with Alex Mercer, the protagonist of the first game, now we wa have James Heller whose family that was killed by the blacklight virus, then goes to kill Alex Mercer which instead of killing James gives him his powers.

Gameplay wise the ideea is the same like in the first Prototype, you kill and have fun doing it and destroying New York City (if that’s what you like) but the story is not that great at all because the missions are becoming repetitive but you still want to play it because of all the upgrades and rewards that you get for your character.
